Once again the month passed quickly. It tends to be a blur looking back, so forward we go. Today the weather started nice, as far as I know, I was working, but once again it was slow, and I left early. The dark sky had flashes of lightning and then the downpours. No dainty shower! We've needed rain for quite some time, so the rain was much needed.
Poor Caitlin has been suffering from kidney stones for the past several weeks. Off and on pain, nausea, feeling somewhat better only to revert back to pain, nausea, and vomiting. She has been through CT scans, ultrasounds, and once again today had another ultrasound. She left with plans of being seen next week by the doctor only to get home and start in with the pain again. So, she went back to have a CT scan and just before the scheduling of surgery the stone passed. Plop! There it is! What a relief! It is horrible to have to see your child be in such pain and not be able to do much to help her. She was a brave trooper and hopefully, will be up and having fun once again.
She an Natalie have signed a lease for an apartment. Of course, I want to help with the decorating....It is such an exciting time. They are both signed up for summer classes, as I have done also....we'll all have our noses in the books rather than splashing in the pool!
