It's Spring!!! I think people in the northern part of the country are over joyed that winter is coming to an end. It has been very long for them, cold, lots of ice and snow; now mud….and we have had lots of traffic but we are seeing the snowbirds head north. That was evident on the the highway this weekend. The GLF's did a road trip up to Mount Dora to the Garden Show. It was fun to see all the different vendors, some whom we actually sat down and chatted with for well over an hour. Some people are so talented. I learned about Milk Paint and Chalk Paint. We had lots of laughs as usual and were able to get caught up on our lives. We found great places to eat :D We have some pretty awesome finds!
Bermuda friends came for a visit and literally Shopped til they Dropped! It was fun to have them here and to get caught up.
The garden is blooming, although once again the Easter Lillies will be late…hubby says that we have to dig them out and wait until some phase of the moon or other and replant them. I guess I should get out the Old Farmers Almanac! :D
Have taken a few days off from work. It is nice to have a slow pace. I got one of my quilts back from the quilter and I have been working on a few more. I have been trying to get the old projects done along with some of the new ones.
I guess I need to get back sewing…..
