The days go by, some longer than other, especially at work, and others are so short they pass with a blink of the eye. The good thing is that everything is going well. I have been able to do several quilting projects over the past several months. I really haven't travelled much, except for going to Bermuda on a cruise with the my husband a few months ago, and going to the beach. It was nice to see friends and family and the pink sand and turquoise water.  Now it is the mundane chores of painting the house and freshening things up. I have been successful in growing some hydrangea plants...very hard to do in a warm climate!

There have been the get together with friends. Over the past several months going to the tea room or just have tea parties has been fun. It certainly is one way to get friends together in their busy lives.

There have been lots of babies this year so far. I participated in the delivery of triplets, twins, and many singletons. Several friends have become grandparents or having the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grandchildren! Then yesterday, a royal prince was born. Babies are exciting.
