R and R

Well, not really but there was an attempt. It has been a busy couple of weeks between work and doing my civic duty. We did get back to Port D'Hiver which is such a wonderful place. It just puts a smile on my face to go, and everyone is so friendly. The breakfasts are so wonderful, very inspiring. I have a love of linens and they have fantastic linens....keeps me on the search and look out for new and better luxury linens. Found the pillows.... :) will save my pennies for those! Did get the chair and ottoman for the bedroom. Just love sitting in my own chair watching t.v. or being on the computer...the possiblity of sitting and reading a book or sewing is also a possibility!

We visited with family which is always nice...getting caught up and remanising about the good ole days, LOL! Maybe I'll get to sleep in tomorrow...better take advantage of it. Maybe shop again in the afternoon....I'm bad...

Happy New Year!

As the crumpled wrapping paper torn of Christmas gifts piles up in the recycle bin, and ornaments and decorations get repacked for another year, the New Year snuck in. Not only was it a new year, but a new decade and a blue moon to boot! It was wonderful to sleep in and then with the starting of the Tournament of Roses Parade starting on HGTV in Pasadena, California (71 and sunny) we had rain and thunder! It was a relaxing day to be sure. While I get caught up with unfinished business from last year, I also start new things for this year. My biggest obstacle will be writing 2010 on everything...that ought to take a month in itself! ;) May 2010 bring peace, happiness, contentment, and good health! God Bless us all!
