Getting away for the weekend....

I just love getting away. A change of scenery is good for the soul, the mind, senses, and certainly my mental well being! Callie and I went up to Gainesville to see Caitlin on Friday. Natalie joined us on Saturday. It was a girls weekend....more or less. We didn't do much, but we had fun doing it. The girls wanted to check out apartments since Natalie is planning on moving up to Gainesville next month. We went to two complexes that we liked. It's a tough decision to make. One of our outtings was to Squirrel Park, I just love the trees with the moss hanging from them. We ate at Outback a couple of times, the waiter was fantastic! ;-) The movie we watched at Caitlin's was Miss Potter. If you haven't seen it, the movie is enchanting just like the critics said it was. We slept a lot. I did get some homework done....that nasty stuff follows me everywhere!!! We went to the Mall on Sunday and did a little shopping and before you knew it, it was time to hit the road and head on home. We made good time, and checking in with Caitlin, we found her keys in my car!!! Oooopppps! So they were FedEx'd out to her today. Then it was the mundane tasks of bill paying and more homework which I'm becoming quite good at avoiding. I think I'm allergic!!! It's definitely back to reality.

Valentine's Day

Ahhhh, love is in the air! Today is Valentine's Day. Somewhere cupid's arrows are quite busy. I started my day getting up late. I've been very tired, I'm not sure why, probably the stress at work, and then working hard, school, midterms, home....maybe it's the weather! I worked out, went shopping, went home and I made lasagna and a strawberry cream pie. It was a pleasure being in the kitchen! A peaceful day. I have a large bouquet of pretty pink roses next to my bed with a lovely card. The kids and the husband all got their Valentines. It was a simply joyous day.

Procrastination.....

You Are a Cappuccino

You're fun, outgoing, and you love to try anything new.

However, you tend to have strong opinions on what you like.

You are a total girly girly at heart - and prefer your coffee with good conversation.

You're the type that seems complex to outsiders, but in reality, you are easy to please

Okay, I admit it....I'm procrastinating. I have a midterm paper due for Ethics and I'm just not feeling the impulse to write. I've put this off for days, washing windows and screens, cleaning out closets, organizing....today I did get 5 paragraphs written, and my mind started wandering and before I knew it I was surfing some of my favorite websites on the net. I came across a survey, how could I resist? So, I started answering the questions and before you know I'm a cappucinno! Okay, for those that know me well, I don't do so well having cappucinno's...but that's another story. Here's the website in case you'd like to try -

Fess up, what kind of coffee are you????
Okay, I'll now have to find some other way in which to drag my feet, put off, delay, postpone, dally, defer, linger, loider, hang around, dawdle, suspend, defer, waste time.....you get my drift.
